Overall the policy changes appear to be minor and in most cases are clearer to read.   If I read this correctly cost sharing will no longer be tracked on the PAF...is that correct?  As a business manager I found having this information on the PAF very helpful and it frequently generated discussions between myself the PI and the unit Director.  PIs (especially newer ones) have a tendency to "over commit".  The PAF gives us a mechanism to review and discuss cost sharing with them before the proposal is submitted.  If my understanding is not correct, could language be added to the document to clear this up?  Thanks for the opportunity for input.
